Team Spirit in the Schwalenberg Forest

On Friday, 18.09.2020, it was time for the commercial and industrial trainees of MÜLLER Umwelttechnik to "put on hiking boots, load the cart full of beer and other beverages and set off through the Schwalenberg forest!" Together with training manager Joshua Kuffner and Ludwig Klotzkowski, who is responsible for Human Resources in spé, the MÜLLER apprentices started off on the beautiful hiking trail through the Schwalenberg forest in the best summer weather. "Above all, we wanted the new apprentices who started with us on August 1 to get to know all the other second and third year apprentices. Therefore, we decided to organize a short hike followed by a barbecue. We also want to strengthen the bond between all trainees and the company", remarks the organizer Ludwig Klotzkowski.

After about two hours of walking, the training team reached the old Schwalenberg forester's house and then the SOS Children's Village and could enjoy the great view of the old town of Schwalenberg and the historic castle of Count Volkwin. Afterwards they went back to the MÜLLER company grounds to the local grill hut at the Rothekamp. There, delicious steaks, bratwursts and hearty drinks, donated by the management and the works council of the MÜLLER company, were already waiting for the hikers. The MÜLLER trainees had a great time during a pleasant meal and get-together, and thus had a good start to the weekend.
