Best metal worker in North Rhine-Westphalia
Chamber winner and second state winner
Jannis Chaintoutis, who began his apprenticeship as a metalworker specialising in commercial vehicle construction at MÜLLER on 1 August 2017, more than successfully completed it in the summer of 2020 under difficult corona conditions.
Jannis completed his training as a metal worker as the best in East Westphalia-Lippe and the second best in North Rhine-Westphalia. With this great achievement, he was awarded the title of Chamber Winner by the Chamber of Crafts of East Westphalia-Lippe and second best in the whole of North Rhine-Westphalia in the German Crafts Performance Competition under the patronage of Minister President Armin Laschet.
But that is not all. Jannis, who stands out due to his positive, determined and motivated appearance, not only successfully completed his training, but even shortened it by 6 months. He also gladly acted at training fairs and told interested applicants how the training at MÜLLER works.
"After the apprenticeship, the learning really begins."
Jannis is now working in the factory as a vehicle builder after completing his training. Here he is already looking forward to learning a lot from older and experienced colleagues and to taking away a lot for his future path. His future goals are to continue to grow through the daily demands of the company and to constantly improve his skills.
When asked about his apprenticeship, he reports: "It has always been a lot of fun. Especially here at MÜLLER, you get many opportunities to develop yourself and learn a lot. You just have to have a certain amount of self-motivation and all doors are open for you here at the company!"
