NEW DRIVER AND OPERATOR TRAINING COURSES AT MÜLLER!
After the Corona pandemic had slowed down the annual driver and operator training courses held at MÜLLER, a completely new concept of driver and operator training courses was offered for the first time in March 2023.
The MÜLLER team had used the time during the pandemic to design new training rooms and bring them up to the state of the art, as well as to update the content of the previous driver and operator training courses. The motto "From practice for practice" was the top priority.
On three seminar days, the topics "Working on the sewer", "Vehicle technology" and "Occupational safety" were offered. A total of 65 participants from private and municipal waste disposal companies were welcomed to MÜLLER's plant during four weeks of seminars.
The newly developed training concept was very well received, because even "old hands" and also former participants of MÜLLER training courses often looked up in surprise and had to admit that they were not yet familiar with one or the other of the topics taught.
In addition to the training content, the side program was also impressive. The program included a tour of the MÜLLER plant, a walk through the little painter's town of Schwalenberg, a visit to the brewery of the Schwalenberger Brauzunft e.V., and a convivial evening at the Strate private brewery in Detmold, which has been brewing Detmold beer since 1863 and is now in its fifth generation as a family business. However, MÜLLER also provided catering during the training sessions on its own premises in order to have as much time as possible available for the course contents.
The total of 7 instructors at the MÜLLER training courses can draw on many years of practical experience in handling sewer cleaning vehicles and working on sewers. This enabled a high practical relevance for all topics concerning the sewer cleaning vehicle, but also left enough room for comments and questions from the participants. Much of the training content was not just "dry" theory, but was also subsequently demonstrated and clarified by the speakers in practice.
Practical tips and advice were well received by all participants and were repeatedly mentioned in a positive light. But also the possibility to exchange information among each other was positively evaluated by all participants. Many telephone numbers were exchanged in order to stay in contact after the training sessions.
The MÜLLER team thanks for the great positive feedback and will offer the trainings in a regular cycle in the future.
